Trump is hinting that he wants to use the National Guard to stop the crime in DC and secure the Capitol.
This comes at the same time that he is investigating the Deep State cabal and a grand jury is being impaneled.
What if those two things are connected?
If Trump is actually going to follow through on high-profile arrests, he is going to need control of DC. He will need complete security to pull off arrests, military presence would give him the ability to mask movement of high-profile targets, and he will need the National Guard in place preemptively to shut down any riots or uprisings, because the public will likely be outraged if certain high-profile individuals are arrested.
If there is going to be a “corruption purge” here in the US, similar to the one in Saudi Arabia in 2017, Trump taking federal/military control over DC would be necessary.

I think Clandestine is right about this. I think this moment has been thought about since way before the Trump '45 Presidency, specifically by Trump himself.
As successful Chief Executive over many very large projects involving labor, capital and governments, he knows very well the need for careful planning.
Not just a few months planning, but many years of planning looking as far into the future as possible.
A populist run for the Presidency followed by 8 years of warfare with the parasitical Government Party over the mechanisms of power is a far bigger project than almost any other one can imagine.
How many years has Trump been praising and uplifting Law Enforcement and the Military? Is there any harm if this is highly beneficial, strategically and tactically if this D-Day on the Deep State is carried out...in addition to being the right thing to do?
