Re: Angus Reid poll indicating Canadians support palestine state recognition

The author challenges the conclusion of the poll and describes how the question that was asked was simply (paraphrased) “Do you support the Prime Minister in his trade negotiations with PDJT in light of the President’s threats to end them over Canada’s stance on palestine?” The sponsors of the poll, probably the Liberal government, twisted the responses to give themselves permission to do something most Canadians are actually against - recognize palestine. Their paid lackeys, CTV, one of the bailed out TV media, dutifully carried their water by stating that the poll shows something it doesn’t.
The poll showed support for Canada being tough in trade negotiations and used the hockey term “elbows up” in our approach to the negotiations. It originates from Gordie Howe, who would ward off opponents with his elbows, thus earning him the name “Mr. Elbows.” Whether or not Canadians support recognizing palestine as its own state is a different question and probably would have drawn a different answer. Our support for Israel has always been unqualified in the past.
Thanks for the Canadian input!

Thank you!
This is by far the most enlightening analysis of the Canadian position which I have seen.
"Elbows up!"
