I think you just liked CB or you didn't. I was never drawn to CB, mostly because they located on the interstates; that is, families on pleasure trips looked for CB and mostly ate there. They raved about it. My driving on the interstates was almost all as a commercial driver or personal business. I had no time for a sit down and wait for a waitress except for a rest break and that was almost always a truck stop by habit.

Occasionally when I was not working friends would get together at CB and I would join them. I tended to find the menus confusing and paid more because I didn't know the routine. But I can't say anything against them. They seemed OK. These last years I heard about higher prices or smaller portions; I had no experience with that.

I rarely drank Bud Light - but still I resented the company shoving political correctness down everybody's throat. I think any 'established' product that decides that they have a duty to change their faithful customers' minds about 'things' has gone insane and the world can get along without them. I am glad Bud Light has seen the 'light' and I can forgive their stupidity... but I am still unlikely to drink it more than once every leap year or similar.🤷

I watched a video clip after FReeQs sweetiepiezer, Watchdog85  and meyer and I kicked around the ideas of excavation and tunnels in Washington D.C. tied to Powell's renovations of the Fed Building.

A few hours later, in a video recorded in the Oval Office, President Trump inadvertently answered one of my questions about the Rose Garden construction.

Of course I lost track of that video and it's taken some time to find it. A few of the first videos I screened were not the the one I wanted, but still, I found snippets interesting.

For example, in the FIFA video, President Trump said historically priceless paintings stored in vaults beneath the White House, some there for more than 100 years,  had been retreived and some were now on display in the White House. I've never heard mention of those paintings and I don't know why they were stored for more than 100 years if their presence were known - why wouldn't they be on display somewhere?  I was interested to hear President Trump said he had gone 'down into the vaults' himself, and wondered what else he saw during his visit.

Below are some comments on the correct video for which I've been searching. On the web, the meeting was described thusly:

If they are working around the clock due to the DC crime effort, in addition to the officers and NG involved, then I think it means much more extensive crime is involved beyond muggers, gangsters and drug dealers. I recall Patel said thousands of trafficked children had been rescued.

**President Trump:** "...and Washington D.C. is now in great shape.  I'm going to be working with Clark Construction, which is by far your biggest construction company. And we're going to also  beautify Washington. We're going to rip down the broken medians, fix them. We're going to put asphalt on the roads. We're not ripping them apart like these stupid people do. They rip a road down to the dirt and then they spend 5 years in building the new one, and then it starts settling. " 

**ransomnote:** Apparently the Deep Staters ripped up a D.C. road for 5 years, they build the new road, and then that road 'settled', and now Trump will replace or install asphalt to repair it. I asked AI if underground construction efforts would cause roads paved over the top of it to settle:

**ransomnote:** Similar to meyers remark about the 3 billion dollar basement, which Trump said would normally cost about $250 million, Trump says 'stupid people' spent hundreds of millions building a road, which he now will repair for about (comparatively) $2. Yes, it could be standard construction fraud by city officials, but in light of all that's happening and his remarks about the Fed basement, I don't think it is. President Trump is very casual when making these remarks. Sometimes a road is just a road, but I believe he is choosing examples with great care - comms.

President Trump: "We're going to be replacing medians. We're going to be replacing much of the asphalt in the city which is in bad shape." He goes on to say Congress has authorized funds needed to beautify the city, and that we want it to look beautiful for the World Cup. 

ransomnote: He mentions beautifying other major cities and that the World Cup will kick off at the Kennedy Center. In another video, He spoke of complete renovation of the Kennedy Center - it was previously a Deep State hub. I wonder what might need renovating there, in addition to whatever standard updates and repairs would be conducted ahead of events like the World Cup.

PS: In a few videos I screened, President Trump keeps mentioning gold a lot - over and over. I think the emphasis is telling.

I recall in the early days of the Q thread when we were posting around the clock, we having our 'position overrun' with trolls. I logged on to my computer around 3 or 4 am and found what I called a 'chair throwing bar fight'. It was the first time I ever saw cboldt, and he was easily dispatching the enemy with the sword of logic (hey how did he get THAT into the bar?). It seemed 'loud' in that thread/bar, so maybe there were posts in all caps, or I was imagining shouty text based on the content. I stayed briefly and started throwing chairs with some others, but Cbolt's rapier wit was making more headway as was bagster's gung fu (plus bagster was enjoying it). I was entirely unfamiliar with that environment, wasn't very good at it and wasn't having fun. I didn't stay long. I imagined the sound of the fight growing dimmer as I left the thread to check email, and silence falling as I logged off for the night in silence, wondering what would be left when I checked again later that morning. Would bagster be in time out?

But my recollection pales in comparison to the power and determination you displayed in your prose. My favorite part: "I steeled my mind...I typed!"

1) So DemoKKKrats won a special election in IA, which was a flip in the state house and removed the R supermajority there. Very low turnout. Yet doesn’t sound like the DemoKKKrats are all that pleased. DNC Chairman Ken Martin is back to the libtoid mantra of DemoKKKrats aren’t fighting hard enough. Remember this from earlier in the year? They are “bringing a pencil to a knife fight.” So what? Chuck Norris can kill you with the eraser. Meanwhile, Patrick Ruffini says gerrymandering is forever; that one of the main reasons TX redistricted was the FAILURE of the DemoKKKrats to turn any part of TX blue. But most important, he agrees with me that big house majorities don’t matter anymore because there just are not many true “swing” districts left..

2) In the past 3 months, 1.1 million more Americans have gone on disability. What’s going on? Is this related to the vaxxes?

3) This is political more than economic. President Trump bounced Fed Board Member Lisa Cook, who has been accused of mortgage fraud-—you know, like Schiffty the Human Lemur and Big Tish James? (What is it with DemoKKKrats and taking people’s homes?) Anyway she vowed a legal fight and Trump was delighted. Now maybe the Fed can stop throttling this economy.

4) We have oil. We need refineries. Ronald Stein notes this shortage may jeopardize our quality of life.

5) Trump is seeking to end cashless bail, which is, of course, no bail at all. Oh, and Trump wants D.C. to have the death penalty for murders. The whole D.C. affair, while I don’t think it was planned this way, shows Trump’s incredible newfound political intuition. He now is saying, “we’re against crime. DemoKKKrats like crime.” See, the thing is, a) he’s right, and b) DemoKKKrats CANNOT come out against crime because violent crime especially is so overwhelmingly black. So Trump has forced them into yet another 80/20 position. And right on cue, here is a poll showing 81% think crime is a big problem, and the survey says Trump is at 53% approval on crime.

6) PA had a requirement that ballots returned late or without a signature would not be counted. Now a court has said that is unconstitutional. The Appeals panel, 2 Ds and 1 Bush appointee, will now see the case head to the Supes, I am guessing.

7) I knew it. That slimy Jeff Sessions in Trump’s first term abetted the DOJ stymieing and squashing probes on James Scotumoter Comey, Schiffty the Human Lemur, Cankles, and Hunter Biteme. It appears that Scrotumtoter’s FBI had its own email scandal, too. And Bondi’s DOJ has reached settlements with 10 FBI whistleblowers who were screwed under the Rutabaga admin. Over at the DNI office, Tulsi Gabbard said they found more “burn bags” still untouched full of incriminating stuff. Oh, and remember when you couldn’t even say the name “George Soros” on FAUX? Yeah, well now President Trump calls out him and his spoogling son and suggests the government use RICO on them. Now, per Robert Barnes, the lawyer, RICO is extremely difficult to get and in reality it’s a lot easier to nail peole on specific smaller charges.

8) So much for “Muh Racism.” Black juries only convict blacks 12% of the time vs. nearly 60% of the time if it’s whites. Whites are also more likely to convict whites.

9) President Trump wants to change the name of the Department of Defense back to the original name, the Department of War.

IN CULTURAL NEWS

10) In a partial win, Cracker Barrel, after two failed apologies, brought back the original logo. This is good, we won a skirmish. But Cracker Barrel is still full of snakes at the top. We might want to consider holding the boycott til they ditch the CEO. We now know that an investor called the idiot rebrand “Obvious folly.” Oh, and it appears President Trump weighing in on this was the last straw. Jeffrey Tucker, as did Jennifer Sey, asks “why do they keep doing this?” Much of it has to do with a second “managerial revolution” where control of companies went from professional CEOs to HR/Marketing, who control the numbers.

11) The editor of Vanity Fair says half his staff says they’ll quit if the mag puts Melania Trump, the most beautiful and glamourous first lady EVER, on the cover. Evil fecalscooters.

12) Shocked, I tell ya. The two largest teachers unions gave $40m to prog causes.

13) I just love everything about this administration. Bobby Kennedy at HHS has set a deadline for Kollyfornia and any other non-complying state to remove all gender ideology queer studies garbage from their federally funded school programs.

Not to be outdone, Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent said that the U.S. deficit would fall by 25% and that tariffs could generate $1 trillion dollars in revenues.
