As a side note, “psychiatry” in Canada is an out-of-control, woke, state-run edifice.
People can become “counselors” in any number of categories, with the flimsiest of credentials, all regulated by completely woke, left-wing Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association.
Nearly all are paid by the government under National Health, so obviously follow politically correct lines and fashionable woke ideology.
Its really no different from a state religion.
That is similar to the US.
