She could have; she chose not to as an opposition defiance type of statement. No one was going to tell her to take chemo and admittedly feel awful and sicker for a time. RIP.

My mom also had NHL. Someone at her church tried to talk her into a natural treatment , ie vitamin protocol instead. That woman also had nhl and was using that natural treatment instead of traditional chemo. My mom went into and stayed in remission. The other woman died within a year. They were both about the same age.

Unfortunately a little over 20 years later my mom got HL. She did not respond to chemo. She was in her 80’s at that point so they could not give her the full standard treatment. She passed within a year,

Because of my own success with traditional treatment for AML 10 years ago, I support chemo. (Yes, I think lymphoma/leukemia must run in my family) . Side effects suck, but the alternative sucks more.
