We have visited Laughlin a couple of times and enjoyed it.
The prices were dirt cheap when we went.
We live 20 miles from there.
There are secretes to visiting Laughlin.
As for getting something for nothing.
Forget about it. Aint happening.
And yup, Laughlins hot during the day in summer.
Lemme put it this way. Wife and i go once a month.
We sit and get several beers and drinks (not top shelf) for less than ten bucks.
Got to know which place to go to.
Usually, we top the afternoon off at tge Old Town Saloon. That place you cant really get cheap drinks but we love tge place and have one and we are done.
Gal bartending there is from Vegas. She HATES, what vegas has become and will never go back. Like most of us, s h e says Vegas was really destroyed by corporate greed..the mob ran it way better.
BTW. You can carry your drink, or drink on the Riverwalk in Laughlin.
But, it has to be in a “to go” container. Disposable cup...plastic.
They dont want broken glass or cans floating down the river.
We sometimes go out on the walk late afternoon/night after it cools off.
Not many people out there and its relaxing.
