Also sick of seeing “woke” movies and tv series where the lead character always has to be either black, or a female, or a black female. It does not, by any means, reflect reality, but it’s how the Hollyweird crowd insists on presenting their product. Their war on ‘whitey males’ has got to end... especially since most of the ones pushing that war ARE ‘whitey males’ that also happen to be leftists... and especially since the actual roles that they are misrepresenting are actually by white men, in real life, not black females.
Equalizer is one example of what I’m talking about. Sure, the movies were still about a black male (Denzel Washington)... but they even had to change that to a black female in the tv series. It’s stupid and people are tired of stupid.
And don’t get me started about how every damn show has to have gay men, now. Ramming their perversions down the public’s throat in their attempt to make it appear “normal” has been over-done, as is always the case when leftists have any control. So yeah, most heterosexual viewers have had enough of this ‘stuff’.
Hollywood hasn’t mad a good movie in the last 20 years bad scripts with a 3 minute attention span and more computer work than acting.
I saw a movie recently he was in where he plays a retired pensioner living in a less desirable neighborhood in London.
One of his buddies gets killed by the local yutes/drug gangs. He becomes a vigilantly and takes matters into his onw hands. I was a totally NOT WOKE movie. It is called "Harry Brown". It came out in 2009 and was on Prime.

Not just low IQ, though. My theory is that all inspiration comes from God and these cretins in Hollywood either don’t believe in God or are adamantly opposed to God, so they are incapable of receiving any of that ‘divine inspiration’. Hence, it comes off as “low IQ” re: lack of quality of ideas in films and in other areas. And yes, all they can fall back on is their own political bias (or perversions) for their “ideas”.

first, Trump has zero to do with it: hollywood has been making nothing but woke, unappealing, unentertaining trash long before Donald Trump came down the escalator ...
and second, it wouldn’t be difficult to make great movies and TV: there are thousands of fantastic NON-WOKE novels that would make great movies and TV series provided that the kind of production talent that made great TV series like The Sopranos, Deadwood, Justified, The Wire, and Breaking Bad were utilized and not interfered with by “suits” ...

Maybe. I’ve always liked him and most of the movies I’ve seen him in. Have not seen him in any movie recently, though. Book of Eli, DejaVu, Magnificent Seven, Flight, Equalizer 1-3, Man on Fire, Fallen, Crimson Tide were all movies he was great in, IMO.

Exactly. Ultra-woke morons have run and ruined Hollywood for the past decade or more.
One example: Ghostbusters with Leslie Jones as lead character. They ruined it. Lamest Ghostbusters movie ever. And that is just ‘one’ they have ruined. And the trend goes on even today.
But much like re: the Late Show, the idiots in control don’t seem to mind losing millions as long as they’re getting that leftist (commie) agenda fulfilled of “manipulating” public perception and opinion. Problem is... they have failed even in that... quite miserably (See: 2024 election results).

I record old “Highway To Heaven” and “Touched By and Angel” episodes on Fubo. On the list, each episode has an image pertaining to the subject. I scroll through, and every image that has a black person ... delete delete delete. (Of course, that doesn’t pertain to Della Reese.)

There’s a new ad for some kind of jeans with a sexy actress (Cindy Sweeney - and I have no idea who that is). I saw the commercial and it’s like the olden days before woke, ads like Carl’s Jr. / Hardee’s made.

You have hit at a key point. California provides massive subsidies to Hollywood that long helped to entrench even money-losing Leftist management. Now though the string of losses are too painful to ignore. Moreover, the new Trump friendly owners of Paramount (Larry Ellison and son) are willing to jettison Leftism for the sake of success. Hollywood’s commies will soon be wringing their hands.

Wait, you mean a big uprising by the left because she’s white? The radical left has been attempting to create a race war for a generation now. When they say ‘by any means necessary’... they mean exactly that. Any evil means they can facilitate to divide and then conquer us.
And it’s ironic that they pushed to get Hispanic illegals into the country, yet Hispanics are deemed “white” when it comes down to their black vs. whitey propaganda. Remember George Zimmerman? He was a Hispanic and yet the left portrayed him as a “whitey” against that poor, defenseless little Trayvon. Yeah... riiiight.
