Wasn’t Hillary the first to bring up BO’s BC?

In 2008, I checked in daily at a women for Hillary group to see what was going on. Her supporters seemed pretty reasonable, not crazy like today’s Dems. Most were anti-Obama and many were suspicious about his background. IIRC, they were pinning their hopes on Sidney Blumenthal. He supposedly had the goods on Obama and was going to file something with the court (Philadelphia), I think. Everybody was waiting for the big day. The day came, and nothing. It was rumored that Obama had promised Hillary the Sec of State position, and she backed off.

Yes, Hillary Clinton started what became known as the “birther” movement. It was put into high gear after she dropped out by a spin-off group of Democrats from her campaign called PUMA. See this article: https://www.politico.com/story/2011/04/birtherism-where-it-all-began-053563

Hillary’s lawyer was the first to bring that to light.
