“Today’s emphasis on transparency and “truth in media” makes such casual dishonesty feel outdated”

Come on man. President Biden is sharp as a tack.

"Here comes the judge" was on the list.

Here Comes the Judge--Shorty Long (1968)

Not sure if this is the same performer:

Just Like Two Drops of Water--Shorty Long & His Santa Fe Rangers (1951)

Sidelight about Hogan's Heroes -- Wehrner Klemperer and John Banner (Colonel Klink and Sergeant Schultz) were both Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany.

So who its it being offended on their behalf?

The Groove Tube movie was a classic.

Loved that show when general Burkhalter showed up and called col. Klink a boob.

I remember the “black centric” shows Good Times and The Jeffersons, both bent over backwards to portray what few White people were on the show as complete imbeciles and the blacks as completely superior intellectually.

It went from “Ace is the place for the helpful hardware man” to “Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks.”

I read all of this, and my only observation is that “Damini R” (she won’t even sign her own name to this tripe) REALLY has to reach A LOT to find ANY of this offensive.

This is the sort of SuperWoke bullshit that is causing the pendulum swing the other way, these days.

I think the author of this piece was reaching quite a bit on a lot of these phrases

I think this had to be written by AI. Any human capable of stringing together those navel gazing, nonsensical, joyless, woke tropes would have died long ago with a belly full of diazepam and Chardonnay.

What a sorry and stupid article....

I see nothing at all wrong or offensive about any of the 15 sayings...

It's not a real person, just a name some content mill in India attaches to something AI spewed out. By engaging with it at all, you're falling for it.

“”””I’m shocked you can still watch All In The Family on tv.””””

I despised All in the Family for it’s obvious purpose of moving America left along with a lot of other shows suddenly introduced at the time, not a jerk to the left but a gentle movement left, make it where the normal Americans could enjoy watching it and even have characters to identify with, but at the same time shift “normal” slightly to the left, which that show did.

Little did I know at that younger age that the show would be considered right wing today, even by some who vote against the democrats.

However, I will observe that if this is the quality that AI puts out, humans have nothing to worry about.

I liked the catchphrases. I am offended by the commentary.

I’m tempted to critically analyze each of the commentaries. The analysis deserves to be analyzed to point out the problematic nature of early 21st century indoctrination.

While these lines shaped a generation’s vocabulary and remain part of television history, they also serve as markers of how far we’ve come in creating more thoughtful and inclusive entertainment for people to watch and enjoy without feeling targeted.

What they show is how successful public education has been in mass-producing hair-trigger reactive, intolerant, and vicious Gem-Z victimhood.

I think society was mentally healthier overall in those days.

Everything like that I view or read is old. The new stuff can’t hold interest.

That article seemed like a parody of woketardism.

And 6 of the 15 catchphrases weren’t from the ‘70s.
