I pulled into my local Wal-Mart parking lot about 1 hour ago that sits next to I-30 and visually saw 4 Mexican caravans just pulling in what I like to call them Mexican caravans heading South. I used to see them nearly daily on I -30 but since the deportations picked up have not seen to many any more till today. What a Mexican caravan is a group of damaged/totaled but mostly towable at least drivable mid sized vehicles all connected to a larger vehicle that gets towed to the Border and fixed up\patched up to sell to border crossers needing rides North. I made it a point to try and speak to a couple guys going into Wal Mart and 1 guy spoke no English the other a little bit and I asked them where they were heading and this dude said Corpus Christi. The one dude that spoke a little English didn't have much to say...Each Mexican caravan had two dudes in the lead caravan vehicles with several signs and temp tail lights all held together with duct tape to the cars and trucks saying in tow. Maybe busienss is picking back up?
Junkyards take cars home from auction this way.
I lived in Austin for years and can confirm southbound caravan sightings galore on 35.
Little crappy cars going south of the border. I don’t care.
Interesting. I’ve lived in Austin for 35 years and I’ve never seen or heard of this before.
Maybe but the drivers seemed to have issues with English...
Half the roofers in my county have issues with English.

That right there, at any given traffic stop, should be sufficient "probable cause" to detain them and contact ICE.
I see them all the time westbound on the I-10 between Phoenix and California.
Many are older Toyota pickups.
Yep, those are 90% of what I see under tow.
I think you meant Hwy 183.
Have not traveled that road in 2-4 years but did so twice a month for many years. Saw lots of them. Usually a small truck towing to 2 other small trucks. The trucks would be loaded down with bicycles and stoves, washers and dryers to be repaired and sold in Mexico.
