If this means anything to anyone, the creature was a diapsid, meaning that it was on the modern reptile side of the reptile (amniote) family, along with birds, dinosaurs, crocodilians, lizards, etc., as opposed to the mammal side of the reptile (amniote) family, along with humans, dimetrodons, etc. But this frill had nothing to do with the bony frills of dimetrodons.
