Since the end of the Vietnam War security exclusions for clearances for sensitive government and industry positions has been a moving target. Back then I was told your political views as a wet behind the ears college student were viewed as irrelevant. You were simply too immature. (When told that I silently asked myself then “ why do we let them vote?”.) They let you skate on drug use back then for the same reason. As time and politics went on that got changed to the last 5 years. Time and politics marched on the last time I was re-evaluated it was within the last year. I retired from doing sensitive contract work for DOD etc. six years ago, a friend who was a corporate (had been a USG security officer) official said to me jokingly (maybe not!) no drug use just prior to turning in your urine sample. Why the continued change? Societal changes regarding drug use*. And maybe more importantly for USG positions too many whites with security clearances.
* From a high school classmate who is a business man and now mayor of the small WV town i grew up in said the following. “The single thing holding back employment growth in the city and the surrounding county was finding employees who could pass a drug and alcohol test.” I and others on this forum have heard that about elsewhere.
There are 2 major hurdles
1. Looking for statements made and actions taken that can reset the 5 year SOL for the perjury, coverup, and conspiracy charges.
2.Trying the case in a favorable jurisdiction, IOW not DC.
It does matter that we get indictments.
1. Future deterrence for these crimes
2. The leftist media will be silent unless we see indictments. Otherwise 50% of the country will not ever know.
Otherwise we will could have another famous historical fraud that goes unpunished. Donations of Constantine, Elders of Zion, Mormon tablets.

On July 26, 1947 (78 years ago today), President Truman signed the National Security Act which created the CIA and National Security Council (NSC) and established the Department of the Air Force. The Department of the Air Force, Navy Department, and War Department were unified under the new Department of Defense.
Why not fellow travelers. They want to be KGB American Style.
True. Thanks — almost forgot about that.
Only because of the lie detector
Check
Admiral Rogers is a hero.
John Brennon voted for a communist candidate instead of Jimmy Carter.
So Jimmy Carter was no leftist enough for him.
Somehow I’m not surprised.
wow
steele got ripped off

ford was a deep state player
he was on warren commission
deep state knew he would sign off on anything
voila
president ford
1976 ...there were plenty of leftwing loons circa 1976...
... the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) and the remnants of the Charles Manson cult, both of which would attempt to assassinate President Gerald Ford in September 1975.
The same year, Avakian’s RU faction rechristened itself as the RCP. -— fedora https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3516484/posts
Brennan was a drinking pal of some other CIA troglodyte and that helped him move up the ladder.
If Brennan goes to prison (we wish) would the prison food and the continuous stress of prison life cause his looks to become worse?
either acceptable...Carter, Ford
I voted LP, which I saw then and see now as far more acceptable.
bkmk
He hasn’t fallen yet… I’m still waiting to see it.
That little piece of crap should be the first one arrested and prosecuted and jailed or preferably hanged.
I couldn’t vote in that election... I was only 17. I was PISSED that I couldn’t vote for Reagan in the R primary.
In 1980, I of course did vote for RR. On election night, I distinctly recall sitting in my car, listening to Carter’s concessions speech, and thinking.... “This is a decent man”. He had some bad luck with global events while President. But he never would have BEEN President if not for Watergate. His policies mostly sucked. His “malaise speech” was a bad joke. But I didn’t HATE him the way I did Obama.
As 60’s Child pointed out, the passage of time has not been kind to Jimmah. He’s looked more petty and vindictive over the years. I guess I was naive in 1980.
For the record... I voted LP (Dr. Ron Paul) in 1984. But ONLY because... 1) I KNEW Reagan would win a landslide, and 2) I knew the Paul family personally, and worked on Ron’s campaign.
