They could have gotten around all those laws by structuring themselves as a private club. Maybe they were looking for donations and figured this was the way to go about raising funds and attracting additional membership. Buy now they’ve opened themselves up to legal challenges.
I’m glad they’re doing this and hope this goes up the legal food chain so that it can be a case law precedent when they lose.
If they lose, the precedent can be used to go after these Islamic exclaves.
The Islamic threat is of greater importance here.
They are not super dumb, but not very smart either.
