I have an extensive vinyl and CD library. Lots of classical, classic and progressive jazz, artists like Loreena McKennit and Clannad. Currently enjoying several different versions of Samuel Barber's Adagio. Tuomas Holopainen's All the Works of Nature Which Adorn the Earth is an epic masterpiece.

I regret to say that I had to sell my BelCanto stack when times grew tight, but I recently got a near mint Sony STR V5 receiver at auction for $140. It has a lovely warmth to its sonic profile. I have a couple of different turntables with decent phono cartridges and a Nakamichi CD player. All in all, not a bad system.

I know the term “genius” is overused, but Tuomas Holopainen is a true genius. Nightwish is one of my favorite bands.
