Your phone is already doing it even if you think it is off. They are NEVER off, The GPS, sensors, cameras, and mic are always on unless it is dead.

Well, I turn off all of those things where I can. I understand gps functions in a broad sense are needed to make the phone work.
But a lot of the other stuff I go thru and deny permissions for or turn off.
No need to make it easier for them. My location stays off until I need it. I give permissions only while using a particular app if that option is presented...stuff like that.
