The other Italian connection comes from a visit I made to a museum for a Botticelli exhibit, saw a painting of Bertha Venus.
Evidently the Bertha Venus painting is in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. I was there a long time ago so I must have seen the original on exhibit.
