As for the thread topic, I have believed this for decades now. And I think Hapgood was right and why we cannot find evidence. But in turn I think the Megastone work IS from the previous interglacial. I also think it was very turbulent leading up to the crustal shift/physical pole reversal and that is why they built Megaworks to resist constant earthquake activity before it finally created the crustal chaos.
Of course it would have not been 100% destruction depending on where you happened to be. and these locations were where survivors were able to share the event with future generations even if just orally. Too many share the same story, and the sun once rose from the west during the great civilization before...
