Actually the initial posts on the Tesla Diner were from known posters on X.
Musk started off by inviting known Tesla posters.
No bots there.

“I expect the diner will be a success.”
Perhaps, but they still hate him in CA.

We have a few drive-ins in PA. Much better than traditional indoor moviegoing. Bring your own chow, sit on your own seat, talk if you wish, adjust the volume of the movie.

“No ‘Employees Wash Your Hands’ signs.”
I would like to think that, that employee handing those people their food had washed his hands.

Drive-in restaurants were great. Being served by robots...forget it. I'll take a human being everytime to take my order and bring it to me. Robots are very impersonal.

Robots are very impersonal.Plenty of servers are impersonal and/or downright surly, rushed or forgetful.
As long as the order is taken, drinks and food served timely and correctly, at the proper temperature, all is good.
We'll buy separate tickets for entertainment at the theater.
To: NautiNurse
Maybe... But they just will not have the great legs and short skirts that made drive ins so popular... :)

Yes, more than once I’ve stopped the car to take a picture of a colossal chrome edifice on a PA road. At first you think Art Deco but it’s really a post-WW2 “Atomic” restaurant. At the tables there are these little glass and chrome vending machines with pages you flip; insert a quarter and you get boomer tunes.
The food is modern, though, and so are the prices.
