Exactly, it's saved a lot of hunters and hikers I suspect.

That said, why would the orange colors be arranged in a camou pattern along with typical camou colors (green, grey etc)?

Have no idea....maybe a large field of orange will scare off the game...?

Still in a camo design because camo looks cooler than flat color. Orange because it’s a color deer don’t differentiate but it’s very noticeable to humans.
