That’s certainly an interesting what-if. Some of his less-than-healthy habits might have led to an early demise anyway. Or not. Yoko led a similar lifestyle, and is still among the living at 92, so who knows.

Did she take drugs that much? She was cheating on him their entire marriage, and tried to dump him to marry someone else. When he was killed, she had been having an affair with a man for several years, and Lennon was annoyed, because she gave the boyfriend some of his clothes. She moved that guy into their shared apartment the day after he was killed.

By the way, "Walls and Bridges" was NOT a great album. Except for the two hit singles, the rest sounds uninteresting and washed out.
