Mass immigration created this nation’s greatest political challenge. Distracted by side issues, conservatives sometimes get frustrated with the White House, but deputy policy chief Stephen Miller explained the need to stay focused on what matters most. He described what major cities might look like if existing federal laws were fully enforced.
“You’d be able to see a doctor in the emergency room right away, no wait time, no problem,” Mr. Miller said. “Your kids would go to a public school that had more money than they know what to do with. Classrooms would be half the size. Students who have special needs would have all the attention that they needed. There would be no violent transnational gangs. There would be no cartels. … You would be living in a city that would be safe. It would be clean.”
Consider what Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials uncovered after they descended on a pair of massive marijuana growing operations along California’s central coast last week, resulting in the capture of 361 illegal aliens.
Among the collared criminals was a man arrested in the past on charges of kidnapping, attempted rape and attempted child molestation. That’s concerning, because the farm had 14 minors being used for cheap labor, which ICE deemed likely “exploitation, violations of child labor laws and, potentially, human trafficking or smuggling situation.”

Here in Florida there is noticeably less traffic and the grocery stores are no longer crowded with Spanish speakers.
I wish it would get that way here in TEXAS. Our Walmarts have gone full Tijuana.
Could be that the snowbirds migrated north for the summer, too. I should swing by Home Cheapo some morning for a sitrep.
The goal is not to get rid of people who speak Spanish. The goal is to get rid of people who are here illegally. When you speak like that, it doesn’t come across well at all. in fact, it makes you look ignorant. It’s about law enforcement not about disliking people who don’t speak English.
I’ll trade ridding the country of 25 Million Illegals over who visited Epstein.
“Here in Florida there is noticeably less traffic and the grocery stores are no longer crowded with Spanish speakers.”
Agree, the US was founded on a COMMON LANGUAGE and people here should speak it or leave. In other countries, Ukraine for example, there are centuries-old communities who don’t speak Ukrainian, they have the right, under UN charter to speak their native tongue, no matter how much one may hate Hungary.
We will know we’ve finally hit pay dirt when companies no longer insult us with “Para español, oprima dos.”
There used to be pickup trucks flying large Mexican Flags that were so numerous that sometimes I could see three or more at the same time. I don’t think I have seen one in weeks.
The AMNESTY is about to get serious.
“I wish it would get that way here in TEXAS. Our Walmarts have gone full Tijuana.”
Agree. There is also a healthy representation by the cult of pieces. One can usually smell them before seeing them.
The actual result of far fewer illegals would be fewer people speaking Spanish in shops. People can understand that without misinterpreting or misunderstanding the comment—as you seem to think they would.
You could not be more wrong.
Goal #1 is get rid of illegals.
Goal #2 is to,rebuild a strong AMERICAN national identity where we all share common beliefs about America and we speak ONE language. Nations cannot survive being fractured and Balkanized. Tolerating Spanish is a key indicator that we no longer believe in ONE NATION. We need E Pluribus Unum and assimilation.
My grandparents and their three young children got off the boat in October 1927 speaking not a word of English. Their #1 goal was to assimilate and become Americans. There is a reason you did not hear “Para español, oprima dos” 100 years ago.
North Texas Walmarts have gone full Mumbai.
English speaking must become a requirement for residency of any category. No English & not willing to learn, then good bye.
Good, THIS is what I voted FOR.
People who live in America should know how to speak English. I’ll agree it should be our national language and all government documents, education, instructions, voting pamphlets should only be printed English. But, to complain about someone speaking Spanish at a grocery store is a bit over-the-top to me.
Consider what Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials
uncovered after they descended on a pair of massive marijuana
growing operations along California’s central coast last week,
resulting in the capture of 361 illegal aliens. How many workers
are needed to supply the labor force? Well ain’t life grand?
Wal-Mart in our neighborhood is not nearly as crowded and we live in illegal alien central. Atlanta, GA
If they don’t speak English what are the odds they’re here illegally? 🙄
