I quite understand the frustration of those wanting to see the Epstein clients be exposed and punished. And who knows, they may well be.
But I’m not willing to break with Trump over the issue. The roundup and deporting of illegals, the tax cuts, the elimination of USAID, DEI, the Department of Education, Iran’s nuclear program, the ending of at least two wars, India/Pakistan, Rwanda/Congo, the rest of NATO paying more, and a renewed pride in America all seem to be good things.
But if Epstein’s ‘clients’ are more important to you...
“”But I’m not willing to break with Trump over the issue. Exactly right. Breaking with Trump is exactly what the DS left and their helpers in the GOP want to happen. All of the accomplishments of Trump in this first six months has driven the left to desperate measures. We need to focus on all of those successes and realize that obsessing over this stupid issue (Epstein) is just giving them what they want. Let’s not do that. Ever.
I'm not breaking with Trump either. If a student gets 95% correct on a test, and only 5% wrong, one certainly does not consider that student to have "failed."
But most Americans (and even many GOP) are not ardent Trump supporters or are easily swayed by propaganda. Optics for this swing-middle needs to be considered also.
Fix the Epstein problem fast—and then we get to move on to everything else.
Ignore the Epstein problem—and then we get mired in the muck.
