Great ! Never board an airliner with a clinically depressed pilot !
Are they going to start handing out psychological analysis reports on airline captains at the gate before you board a flight to allow for the informed consent of passengers?
I will be sure and always ask the gate agent, before I board a flight, if the captain on my flight is having a “BAD DAY.”
Maybe they could have a placard at each boarding gate with one of two hanging notices, “Your aircraft captain (named) today is: “MANIC” or “DEPRESSED.”
Airlines could boast in their advertising, “Our pilots are the least clinically depressed of any flying today!”
Egypt Air in 1999 JFK-Cairo crashed into Atlantic off Nantucket.
Reserve co-pilot took control and put plane into a dive intentionally.
