“”And the SWAT team(s) just don’t get it.””
Oh, they probably ‘get it’. It’s just that they’re having too much fun to start questioning it. It’s not like they’ll be facing any ‘real’ danger on these fake calls, so it’s good practice for them. I imagine some of them are even gleefully volunteering for these calls to “certain houses”.

Yes, and there also should be no distinction for “attempted” murder, just “murder.” I've been saying that for 50 years. Just because someone doesn't manage to to kill, the intent is exactly the same.

TEXAS PENAL CODE

CHAPTER 42. DISORDERLY CONDUCT AND RELATED OFFENSES
Sec. 42.0601. FALSE REPORT TO INDUCE EMERGENCY RESPONSE.
(a) A person commits an offense if:
(1) the person makes a report of a criminal offense or an emergency or causes a report of a criminal offense or an emergency to be made to a peace officer, law enforcement agency, 9-1-1 service as defined by Section 771.001, Health and Safety Code, official or volunteer agency organized to deal with emergencies, or any other governmental employee or contractor who is authorized to receive reports of a criminal offense or emergency;
(2) the person knows that the report is false;
(3) the report causes an emergency response from a law enforcement agency or other emergency responder; and
(4) in making the report or causing the report to be made, the person is reckless with regard to whether the emergency response by a law enforcement agency or other emergency responder may directly result in bodily injury to another person.
(b) An offense under this section is a Class A misdemeanor, except that the offense is:
(1) a state jail felony if it is shown on the trial of the offense that the defendant has previously been convicted two or more times of an offense under this section; or

(c) If conduct constituting an offense under this section also constitutes an offense under another section of this code, the actor may be prosecuted under either section or both sections.
(d) This section may not be construed in any manner to conflict with 47 U.S.C. Section 230 or 42 U.S.C. Section 1983.

By now law enforcement knows the addresses. If they’re still falling for SWAT scams they are either too stupid to exist or in on it.

Indeed. Particularly with the poor training, hyper-aggressive attitude, and low intelligence of today’s police officers ... sending them after someone really is assaulting the target with a deadly weapon. SWATting IS attempted murder.

Bringing back swift justice/trials and the death penalty would go a long ways toward reducing crime.
Things like this make me think that Draco The Law Giver of ancient Greece was right.

It’s hard to imagine the sickness of those who would target the family of the murder victim.
If this had been done to the family of the little murdering twerp, it would have been understandable even if wrong. But this is just sick.

Lowlifes, who have no concept of how this diverts resources from real emergencies, costs a lot of money, etc. That demographic has no qualms about calling 911 for an ambulance ride to the hospital just because they have a Doctors appointment, or a tummy ache, sniffles ect, making one less ambulance available to handle real medical emergencies. DOGE would have a field day looking into all of the waste and fraud going on in the ghetto.
