The whole issue of ripeness, of particularized harm, of venue, and of whether it has a political rather than judicial remedy were all ignored for this one. I think the election lawsuits were the only ones where those issues were even considered. To be truthful, I can’t help but wonder if they made up those issues just specially for the election issues.
