A Houston pediatrician was fired after recent comments over the deadly Texas Hill Country floods.
Dr. Christina Propst, who practiced at Blue Fish Pediatrics, wrote a social media post that appeared to ridicule flood victims in Kerr County because of the county’s politics.
Dr. Propst allegedly shared in a now-deleted Facebook post that victims of the floods who voted for Trump “got what they voted for.”
“May all visitors, children, non-MAGA voters and pets be safe and dry,” the post allegedly said. “Kerr County MAGA voted to gut FEMA. They deny climate change. May they get what they voted for. Bless their hearts.”
