Yeah, knew what I was getting into. Decent tasting with garbage nutrition. Need to give into the desires now and then. Back to fish - chicken and low calorie dressing salads tomorrow.

Langer’s, still owned by the Langer family, is still open, but it is on the ropes, facing the same problems that killed Coles.
In the 1950s we would visit downtown Los Angeles once a month. Dressing up in suits and ties, we would spend the day at the May Company department store at 8th and Hill. If we stayed late in the afternoon, we might have dinner at the Italian Kitchen across the street. But that was a long time ago. To complete the line from Star Wars with “and a galaxy far, far away” would not be enough. 1950s LA was more like an alternative universe away from the Downtown LA of 2025.
