For those of us who are not from IL, could you please tell us about the community where the pool is located?

Glen Ellyn is a very well to do almost all white suburb of Chicago. Home prices are very high and the residents are snooty liberals almost completely.

We live two towns to the west. It’s full of “Hate Has No Home Here” signs.

Long ago,
a lake surrounded by large summer homes on the hillside, with a hotel/resort and a train stop from Chicago.

I rode my bicycle through town, going to work on most dry days, many Asians, very few blacks.
