If every bitcoin represented one atom, there would be more atoms than there are in the universe.

Huh? The max supply at the end of mining bitcoin is 21 million bitcoins. 21 million atoms wouldn't make a speck large enough to see.

The total number of bitcoins that will ever be mined is 21 million.

Just one gram of gold has about 3x10^21 atoms!!
