Pink Floyd once did an afternoon show in Oakland,Ca a couple of decades ago-weekday 1PM. Everyone had to take the day off to see it. A buddy did just that. Why there weren’t more afternoon rock concerts in those days are hard to explain. They always sold out, at least the big acts. Weekends could have been 2 shows. Clapton did it in ‘74. Cow Palace.
