First saw that as a kid on the Saturday afternoon monster movie.
Like most Japanese monster movies it was a gangster movie with a creature killing off the bad guys.
I'm just surprised no one set fire to the sewers, just to make sure we didn't have H-Man in the neighborhood.

And don't forget the frog in the microwave scene.
