I’ll admit to confusion. How is having two people on camp staff alert to the weather and what’s going on at the camp site after hours “giving up your liberty?” If parents are entrusting their kids to camp staff during their stay, why should they expect anything less than staff ready to address situations as they arise, at whatever time of the day or night?
Why should they expect when there clearly were deficiencies.

So how would the people running the camps plan as a result of that?
Did the parents even know?
Seems to me like there are a lot of adults who expected someone else to ensure the safety of those children.
