As a nation, we have become so used to cities and states just letting these repeat criminals go free, it is a novelty to have them arrested and facing time in federal prison.

If the top 200 criminals in each large city were locked away for life, the crime rates would drop quite a bit. There has been a revolving door at the courthouse for way too long. It’s way past time that door stopped.

It is truly staggering and incomprehensible that Democrats coddle these criminals. The price our, society pays is astronomical.

Except in NYC you’d need to keep the top 2000 in prison. When I worked there in the early 70s a coworker of mine was mugged on his way to work. He sat down with the police and picked the guy out of a photo book. The prosecutor convinced him to testify. So at the trial he testified and the criminal with a long history of assaults and robberies was found guilty. The judge released him to the custody of his parole officer. No jail time just a longer parole time. NYC has been a haven for criminals for a long time.
