Went to disneyland every single year in the 60s and I would see this every single time I went. There is nothing like it. The words, the film, the music, even the narrator. They don't make anything like this anymore. Walt Disney understood American Exceptionalism. Happy 4th to all.

I still remember as a kid leaning on the metal rails they had in that room where the audience stood, swaying back and forth during the footage of that drive down Lombard St. in San Fran. Thanks for posting!

I swear I saw this in 1988 in Orlando... Maybe before the “Hall of Presidents”?

My favorite attraction at Disneyland as a kid in the 1960’s. I think about it often with fondness. Thanks for posting.

I stopped watching when they started reading the Emma Lazarus poem.
For some reason that poem became our immigration policy.

Disney made similar films about Canada for Expo ‘67 — and the much less well-known Expo ‘86.
Unfortunately, few of us have Circlevision 360 in our homes to see such movies properly.

Disneyland played this year after year after year after...I remember it well - I had to concentrate on looking forward otherwise I’d get nauseous.
My favorite scene has always been the one at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs - the chapel is spectacular.
