You can twist the Bible into anything you want. Gen 17:7-8 say it is an everlasting covenant the land of Canaan is theirs.
How long is everlasting?
Ezekiel 37:7-14 speaks of the Diaspera which says the Jews would be scattered from Israel to all over the world and then return to Israel.
Did that happen? If it did then they are still God’s Chosen people unless you are just marble headed.
