yes this society has created a pandemic of narcissism. My daughter-in-law (who did not have a bachelorette weekend away) has had several friends in the last few months getting married, and she in the weddings. They all had to have a bachelorette weekend out of town for a last hurrah, so that meant flying across the country to a destination.If they feel so strongly a last party weekend before being tied down is needed, they should revisit getting married period.
