Okay, it looks like the Mann Act thing was a misunderstanding on my part based on some bad reporting, but still, my bad.
Federal statue of limitations is still generally 5 years unless a given section extends it, which 18 U.S. Code ยง 2421 (Transportation to Engage in Prostitution), which he was convicted under, does not.
He was charged with "Sex Trafficking by Force, Fraud, or Coercion" under Title 18, United States Code, Sections 1591 and 1594, but acquitted on those counts.
Interesting that he was charged with the one version of coercion and not the other. I'll leave why up to people who better understand the law than I. Reading both sections I'm not sure why they charged one over the other, but I haven't really followed the case either.

"COUNT THREE (Transportation to Engage in Prostitution) The Grand Jury further charges: 17. From at least in or about 2009, up to and including in or about 2024, in the Southern District of New York and elsewhere, SEAN COMBS, a/k/a "Puff Daddy," a/k/a "P. Diddy," a/k/a "Diddy," a/k/a "PD," a/k/a "Love," the defendant, knowingly transported an individual in interstate and foreign commerce with intent that the individual engage in prostitution, and attempted, aided and abetted, and willfully caused the same, to wit, COMBS transported, aided and abetted, and will:f_ully caused the transportation of female victims and commercial sex workers in interstate and foreign commerce on multiple occasions with the intent that they engage in prostitution. (Title 18, United States Code, Sections 2421(a) and 2.)"
