A series of explosions are heard inside the plant, with workers rushing and screaming as they try to get to safety.
Ukrainian drones attacked a military-industrial complex in the Russian city of Izhevsk on Tuesday, in one of the deepest strikes inside the country since Putin's full-scale invasion. UAVS struck the Kupol Electromechanical Plant, causing a major fire to break out at the site.
Video images circulating on social media channels show the dramatic moment of impact as the deadly drones zeroed in on their target. In one clip, an explosion can be heard, and then a giant ball of flames is seen erupting from the premises. Another video posted online shows panic among workers arriving at the plant for their morning shift.
It comes just days after Ukraine successfully inflicted more pain on Putin's battered air force as it struck the Marinovka airfield in Russia's Volgograd Oblast.

Local residents told the independent Russian media Telegram channel that air raid sirens had failed to go off prior to the deadly attack.
The city is located in the Udmurt Republic of Russia, more than 1000km from (600 miles) from the frontline.

“Luckily for Putin, Zelenski doesn’t have any cards to play.”
Luckily for Zelensky, Putin is running out of money and friends.
It doesn’t matter what you call it, it’s a proxy war we shouldn’t be involved in against Russia or any other country. Korea and Vietnam were proxy wars we fought against Russia and China. When does it stop being our business? Ukraine is the size of Texas, and sits 5,000 miles away. There is no national security interest there for this country. Texas on the other hand is of serious national security interest to us. It’s been invaded from the south, and RATS have been trying to turn the state blue for years. They just might make it happen. Do we want to take that chance? We fought overseas to stop the spread of communism, but while we were busy doing that, we took our eye off the ball at home, and domestic communism took hold and has thrived and flourished here ever since. America First.
Lemme guess, you still trust the corporate media.
Would you like to grow another head and go shopping on Mars?
Right now ? Definitely no as he's busy in Ukraine. The mid term goals were openly stated - basically NATO moving back to the Elbe river. The long term goals will be influenced by the effects of mid-term goals.
A kook with Nukes? You tell us the obvious!-)
The British Army of today couldn’t fight it’s way out of a wet paper bag. The entire British Army can all fit in a soccer stadium.
The old days are long gone.
I hear you. I wouldn't want to have to depend on Britain or France to save our ass. Not that that would ever happen.
My goodness, little Marcus, aren’t you the busy little propagandist this morning. Reminder… have you made your significant financial support contribution to Free Republic yet this quarter.
Oh, right, I forgot…. you’re a member, along with Zelensky, in good standing of the OTHER-PEOPLE’S-MONEY club.
Agreed. It’s an outrage.
The Poutine is really reeling as he tries to lure more Norks to Kursk.
So sumi.
Your mom would be a stronk commander after she finishes the wash.
