Heavy thundershowers were “all over” today except right over US. Somehow, all we got were sprinkles — fine with me, as our soils are plenty moist, and we have another good shot again tomorrow, then lower but significant chances all next week and then higher chances next weekend. Wifey wants to go back to that cabin we camped at last month, next weekend. I am not thrilled, especially if it’s going to be rainy. I’m too old to be spending my remaining days waiting out t’storms in a tiny cabin...
Our thunderstorm lasted only a couple of hours, not the 5-6 that the weather guessers were predicting. I *think* it was enough for a nice drink for the in-ground plants.
On another note…tiny cabins can be very cozy, if you know what I mean. Sometimes you just gotta make the best of things! Even rainy weekends away from home. ;)
