re: Ranked Choice Voting

Ranked Choice Voting is like picking your favorite ice cream flavors in order. You rank candidates on your ballot—1st, 2nd, 3rd, and so on.

If no one gets more than half the votes, the person with the fewest votes is out, and their votes go to the voters' next choices. This keeps going until someone has the most votes and wins.

It’s like making sure everyone’s voice helps pick the winner!

I’ve read other descriptions of ranked choice voting that look less rosy. Toss in open primaries and it’s not good at at all.

There’s no good reason not to just vote the old fashioned method.
