Agreed, but from what I'm hearing, Trump and his cabinet simply want to bring workers into compliance as legal migrant farm workers. Come in, work, go home. No promise of citizenship. Not "amnesty". If anything, it's a fair do-over.
I heard the President say that if the farmers want to use illegals, they will have to personally vouch for them. If their workers break our laws, the farmers will be accountable.
If I am understanding that correctly, it will soon be too expensive to bother hiring them. It will go extinct.
