That photo is bizarre.
Thanks for posting.
Anybody ever watch the movie ‘Robinson Crusoe on Mars’?
Decades ago it used to be on Saturday Morning TV frequently.

Yep. A pretty good flick that one.
Even the Martian believed in God, Kahichopek IIRC

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is opinion or satire. Or both.)
To: MtnClimber
It almost looks otherworldly.

I didn’t see Robinson Crusoe but I saw John Carter of Mars.

That’s a good way of describing it.

Robinson Crusoe on Mars
Made in 1964 - (The special effects are king of comical.)

Martians are known for their dry sense of humor.

Looks like a colage of Jabba the Hutt to me.
To: GaltAdonis
John Carter based on Edgar Rice Burroughs novel(ettes). Made in 2012 cost $250,000,000 and raked in a paltry 30 mil the first week of showing. It eventually made their money back but was considered a flop financially.

That’s just pun-derful. I’d like to go to Mars, not for the people but just for the atmosphere.

I can see Jabba in there, I can also see what looks to be several very distorted faces of women in heavy makeup. Kid of like looking at clouds, or some kind of Martian Rorschach test.
To: BipolarBob
Nobody goes there since it lost its atmosphere.

My father told me that he read all of the John Carter books when he was a kid back in the dark ages.
