Rand Paul has been a U.S. Senator since 2011 - and how much has the national debt gone down during his terms in office?

Once or twice a year Paul announces something that brings attention to himself.

Has Rand Paul announced a proposal that will lower the national debt and has the votes necessary to become law?

I think we better stick with President Trump on this matter.

Never. He is a total joke. He is the reason the GOP can’t keep a majority.

He doesn’t work in the real world. If the bill doesn’t pass taxes go up. Ok, let’s say that is a false option. Let’s put up a “clean” bill that only extends the current tax cuts. The cbo would score that as a debt increase. Would Rand vote for it or not? He would at minimum ask for spending cuts. If he couldn’t get 50 votes for that cut what would he do? Cut taxes and “raise the Debt” or allow taxes to go up? At some point he runs up against real life and has no idea what to do.
