My niece started her periods when she was 9.

Something very wrong with that. Maybe RFK Jr. has some input on that. Kids that young should not be going through puberty.

From what I have read, early puberty can be related to reaching a certain height/weight ratio. So, a lot of girls are bigger than they were 100 years ago. There is a huge gap between “able to get pregnant “ age (9-11) and maturity, or when society says a young woman ought to marry (26?). During those years all sorts of drama can happen, especially to those who post everything on social media.

Little girls start developing in the single digit ages now - there were only a few in my class that had developed in any way and they were minority girls so maybe diet?
