” This act, often referred to as the “Reagan Amnesty,” allowed undocumented immigrants who had entered the United States before January 1, 1982, to apply for legal permanent residency if they met specific requirements. These requirements included continuous residence in the U.S. since 1982, good moral character, and the payment of application fees and back taxes. Approximately 3 million undocumented immigrants were granted legal status under this program.”

Weak but a National Chamber of Commerce dream.

Weak but a National Chamber of Commerce dream.

How does the CoC view the wave of communism that is about to hit? You know where communists cities and states charge a wealth tax on your international holdings if you do business in their jurisdiction which probably includes the doing business of upholding warranties and product liability even if you think you are going to cease doing business in those jurisdictions.

Or did these economic geniuses think no further ahead than the myth of cheap labor.

The Reagan Amnesty is still in force...

I have not checked recently, but every year, a couple thousand more illegals get a Green Card.

The Reagan Amnesty was passed in 1986.

Forty years ago!

And, still churning out new Democrat voters, every year.

At this rate there won’t be any commerce to chamber. They should get a new plan.
