Former FOX News host Tucker Carlson claims he "got fat" due to the demand of his former job while discussing it with former colleague Clayton Morris on his YouTube show Monday (June 23).
“I just got fat,” Carlson said. “It’s incredibly hard physically. Everything about it is the hardest job I ever had.”
Morris added that "people get cancer regularly" from working in "miserable" morning television during the discussion. Carlson's comment was the latest in his apparent rift with his former employer since his departure in April 2024.
"What they’re doing is what they always do, which is just turning up the propaganda hose to full blast and just trying to, you know, knock elderly Fox viewers off their feet and make them submit to where you want them to," Carlson said while appearing on former Trump advisor Steve Bannon's podcast Bannon's War Room on Monday (June 16) amid criticism of broadcaster Mark Levin.

I’ve seen jobs cause people to gain a lot of weight. Too much stress, no time to take proper care of themselves.
Sad thing is the job goes away but the health problems often remain.

I guarantee my job had as much stress and I did it for over 3 decades…dealing with the public.
My best I ever made was under 75,000 a year. Carlson was getting about 100,000 a day.
But I did like him and to be honest I probably watch FOX 1/2 as much since they fired him…to this day.

And yet, the ladies on Fox News rarely get fat. Of course, they also tend to be younger. But Megyn Kelly is no youngster, and she spent a lot of time on Fox before splitting off and is in shape.
I myself am fat. I attribute it to getting married later in life (34) and liking comfort food. I do not blame my IT employment.
I blame “MacOS Regime Change” <— where “they / them” redecorate and move the OS furniture around - leaning toward HARSH ‘MINIMALISM’ to the extent that some of the control icons shading is neo-suicidal <— that may be expected behavior from a corporate culture that is about being “they / them” (DEI).
Tucker was already rich prior to Fox News. He came from a wealthy family.
