SCOOP: Trump launches MAGA PAC in effort to oust Rep. Massie from Congress
axios ^ | June 23 | Alex Isenstadt

President Trump's political operation has launched an aggressive effort to unseat Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie, its first such effort to defeat a sitting Republican incumbent, Axios has learned.

Why it matters: By going after Massie, Trump's team is looking to put wayward Republicans on notice that they're ready to play hardball.

Massie has attacked Trump over his strike on Iran, saying on X that it was "not Constitutional," prompting the president to fire back on Truth Social that the congressman is "not MAGA." He also called Massie "weak, ineffective" and "disrespectful to our great military, and all that they stand for."

Massie was one of two House Republicans to vote against Trump's "big beautiful bill" last month, leading Trump to declare that he should be "voted out of office."

Zoom out: Trump's $500 million political apparatus is the most powerful, well-funded force in American politics — and gives Trump a weapon with which to target any lawmaker who crosses him.

He needs to start a few more PACS to get rid of the rest of the cockroaches pretending to be Republicans.

“It’s worth noting he’s wealthy from his previous life as a prolific inventor/patent holder I think he also ran a tech startup which he sold so he’s a true public servant. He’s the nicest guy you could ever meet and does not deserve the abuse or opprobrium. Let’s hope he prevails”

Don’t care. Politics is another form of warfare and Massie is too often wrong about key issues.

"Thomas was known as a big Ron Paul supporter in ‘08 and ran for that County Executive (local) position. He campaigned for Rand too in 2010 .

I remember it well and had some fleeting conversations with him when he decided to run for Congress in that primary."

So what is the difference in Trump’s PAC officials and David Hogg. Just the letter after their name, and the $$ to be raised and put 8th the bureaucracy of campaigning. PDJT should put an end to it, and refocus the democrats that are from districts that Trump carried. They seem to be fragging their members. Reality is that Massie will survive handsomely. Kentucky is ruled by Rand.

Oh by the way, I think that Massie is wrong about the Constitutionality of the attack. Trump, should direct his underlings to change their targets. Sometimes the selfish stupidity of politicians and their ilk just make me shake my head. I was taught that if I disagree with someone, I make logical legal arguments to attempt to persuade them. PDJT has never been known for doing that. He is always focused on attacking. At this point I think his BBB is on thin ice and will cause more damage than an opinion on Constitutionality from a Representative. He attacks and he will lose Massie and others for the reconciliation bill. I don’t start attacking because of ultimate votes. I do this this attack of Massie will take money away from using it on democrats.

And you think PDJT is a conservative? Increase in spending every year in office. Trump is a populist and respond sto every issue by spending more money. Massie and Paul are financial conservatives with libertarian leanings. BUT, the fight is not over labels. The fight is over PDJT’s authority, and his continual increasing spending. I agree with PDJT on using the B2s, but not the increased spending. Any Trump affiliated PAC is inviting open rebellion for all remaining Republican. There is no loyalty shown them because of the label. Ronald Reagan regularly rolls over on his grave at the increase of spending.

Trump-Backed Survey: A Trump-commissioned survey found that 52% of voters in Massie’s district would support a Trump-endorsed candidate, compared to 23% for Massie.

I don’t donate to most PACs - when I do, it’s to a specific candidate (as much as possible) my comment was to the dude who thought we would be “stooping” by going after RINOs and Dems the way they go after us.

Rand Paul was one of 4 Republicans who decided not to vote and Judge Murphy was confirmed.

Another big FU to the American people by Rand Paul.
