Ho hum. I’m waiting for slow glass to be developed.
I think that it would work well if you applied a six-month layer of slow glass to your windows. Then you’d have summer sunshine coming into your house during the winter, and vice versa.
I don’t remember who pointed out that slow glass was the only really original science fiction gimmick to come along in a very long time. I’d have to agree, though.
