Folks can argue this to death and partialities will govern opinion

Me

Id prefer Iran without a nuke for sure

Israel started something they damn well better finish

Everything else is noise

It’s war and you can always find agit prop from the world blob

Trump can’t fix that in five months

And u can always find some reason in your foes logic

You are correct, and a big problem is no one wants to finish the job.
Israel starts a war, they want Iran to give up the nuke program.
Iran says no.
Israel is beating Iran, but when they’re done Iran will still be there and now determined than ever to destroy Israel and America.
I’m not arguing to leave Iran alone, just pointing to reality. Seems like Iran is unlikely to oust this government from within.
Everybody wants to destroy the Iran nuke program and we all go home peacefully. That’s not reality.
Now Netanyahu is talking about a protracted war.
Whatever we think of Iraq now, we went in with overwhelming forces and took the regime out. Things got bad from there but probably Iraq is better off.
Iran is harder to reach. Israel won’t invade in force. We won’t invade in force.
Not simple.

“If it’s a choice between halting uranium enrichment and going to war — we choose war,” an Iranian official tells Reuters.
