Fair enough. Still, over the years I've asked my doctors for solid proof of the causes. They usually ignore my request or quote some study that they read from some medical journal, or even refer me to the Fedgov nutrition pyramid which has been totally changed again just recently.
Think: Eggs contribute to a nutritious breakfast; Whole eggs will kill you; Egg whites are okay; Egg yolks is the killer...
As recent as a month or so back...whole eggs are okay.
Don't get me started on all the predictions/studies of doom in the 70's thru the 80's. Coming Ice Age, Ozone loss, Mass starvation due to over-population, Limited oil and gasoline, Nature versus nurture claiming boys and girls are the same, Man-made Global warming. I could go on, but sure you get my drift.
There have been far too many claims about foods causing disease or health or whatever. Most of it is worth tuning out. I understand your frustration about contradictory advice and opinions.
